Accessory products
Within the geosynthetics range we have accessory products that are designed to seal and connect other surfaces; the E-type profile to seal concrete to the geomembrane in civil works, and Welding Wire to connect the various geomembrane panels.
SOLUTIONS FOR GEOSYNTHETICS
(E) Type Profile
The connecting element to join the HDPE geomembrane to a concrete element, providing full watertightness. It has three anchorages that are embedded in the concrete, and a 140 mm-wide band to weld the geomembrane by extrusion. Supplied in 2.5 ml bars.
The purpose of the high density polyethylene profile is to attach the waterproofing barrier (HDPE geomembrane) to a horizontal or vertical concrete surface (walls or floors), making a fully watertight joint. It is embedded in the fresh concrete, remaining at the same level as the finished surface. The profile is ridged on the inside and its three anchorages are designed to provide full adherence to the concrete. The HDPE geomembrane must be extrusion welded to the centre of the profile.
Alvatech® welding wire
Extrusion welding wire, with a polyethylene-based formula that provides high weldability and the highest compatibility with the Alvatech® Geomembranes. An ideal product for extrusion welding both HDPE and LLDPE geomembranes. Available in 4 mm and 5 mm.
