At the Armando Alvarez Group we continue working to advance in our commitment to offer the market sustainable solutions based on a circular economy model. On this occasion two of our companies, Silvalac and Envaflex collaborate with customers and suppliers R-evolutionizing the traditional DoyPack packaging to be 100% recyclable and also containing more than 60% recycled material, thus contributing to the reuse of resources, waste reduction and mitigation of the carbon footprint.
Ecodesign as the cornerstone of the project
Through ECOdesign we have identified the opportunities for improvement that allow us to make the classic non-recyclable DoyPack bag, a sustainable and environmentally friendly packaging, without compromising the quality or performance of the same. The result is a DoyPack bag with a mono-material structure that makes it 100% recyclable, and which also incorporates more than 60% recycled and certified content in its formula.
A successful collaboration
Silvalac and Envaflex, two companies belonging to the Armando Alvarez Group, have joined forces with Repsol and the Lacasa Group to jointly develop this sustainable DoyPack for Lacasitos, the company’s star product for 40 years.

About Envaflex
Located in Zaragoza, Envaflex specialises in flexible packaging printing, both flexographic and rotogravure and multi-material lamination (plastic, paper…). It offers a multitude of certified solutions for the food sector, which guarantee the safety and conservation of products, and also participates in other sectors such as hygiene and cosmetics.
