Our selection process is designed to identify those candidates who are best qualified and who are in alignment with our values and goals. Our Selection and Hiring Policy guarantees that all of our processes conform to current legislation and to the principles of transparency, objectivity, diversity, equality and inclusion to which we are firmly committed.

Our selection processes follow these steps:

  1. Publication of the job opening: We publish our job opening on all of our hiring platforms (Employment Site, LinkedIn or other selection apps, etc.).
  2. Application review: We evaluate the applications and pre-select those candidates who meet our requirements.
  3. Interviews: We hold a round of personal interviews with the pre-selected candidates. We hold a second round of interviews with the candidates selected in the first round (it is usually an interview with questions that are more specific to the job, to learn more about the candidate’s skills).
  4. Offer: Having chosen the ideal candidate, we make them a formal offer for a contract and conditions and, if accepted, we hire them.

The health and wellbeing of our employees is one of the main goals of the Armando Alvarez Group’s ESG Plan.

We are fully committed to keeping our staff healthy from the outset, with a solid Occupational Hazard Prevention Policy and providing all workers with the means and equipment required to keep them safe; and we recently added psychological health to this commitment. Actions such as work/home life balance are an essential part of our policies, and we constantly strive to improve this and to adapt to each person’s circumstances.

The Armando Alvarez Group integrates these principles in its talent management processes from the very beginning, i.e. from the job application until the day the contract is signed with the selected candidate. To this end we recently approved our Selection and Hiring Policy, where we establish the foundation and the governing principles of these processes.

The principles are also present throughout subsequent processes, as they are a fundamental aspect within our ESG Plan.
